「Luffy-sama~」
Hey folks! Welcome to our second figurine review dedicated to 「One Piece」’s Shirahoshi Hime (しらほし姫, Princess Shirahoshi). She is a giant-sized mermaid, also known as Ningyo Hime (人魚姫, Mermaid Princess). Her personality is best described as fragile and emotional. Shirahoshi is easily frightened and is quickly breaking out into crying when expressing joy, fear, or sadness. Due to the solitude she experienced she has very limited knowledge of the outside world. Her curiosity gives her a rather innocent and childish view of the world. Regardless of her cowardly appearance she is very polite and considerate.
In my opinion 「One Piece」 is one of the greatest and most famous Shounen Anime ever. The story centers around Luffy, who wants to become the 「King of Pirates」 and his crew chasing their own dreams, while taking on certain adventures. The world of 「One Piece」 is divided inro three great powers: the Marines, the Pirates and the Revolutionaries.
Luffy’s journey through this world covers meaningful subjects such as friendship, family, love and hate, war and peace, but the major topics are certainly the pursuit of freedom, happiness and dreams. I still enjoy watching the series, even after 500 episodes!
The newest figurine to become part in my collection is Shirahoshi Hime from the 「Portrait.Of.Pirates – Sailing Again」 series manufactured by MegaHouse and available for purchase from our partner shop Figuya. Shirahoshi can be seen in the latest arc of the anime, which takes place on 「Fishman Island」.

The figurine of Princess Shirahoshi shows herself holding Luffy, who comes as an additional figure sitting on her right hand.
Due to her original height of around 17 meter in the series, Shirahoshi’s figurine is extremly tall and solid having a scale of approximately 1/65.
As most of the other P.O.P. figures she is extremly well made and very rich in detail. The colours fit the anime version of Shirahoshi perfectly: beautiful pink hair, a red/pink fin, white skin and a golden bra.

A close-up of her cute face. Shirahoshi’s deep blue eyes and smile can turn men into 「Stone Statues」. ;D It is remarkable that the tips of her hair are brighter in colour than the rest. She is wearing a red fish-hairslide.
Her face is definetly the part I love most about the figure. Truely the most beautiful pearl of the deep blue sea. <3
Her chest fits the size of her body proportions pretty well. ^_^
As in the anime she reprensents the stereotype of men’s dreams about mermaids. A tempting beauty, extremly cute and sexy, fragile, kind, purehearted and at the same time mythical with strong and unknown abilities.

The coral reef she is sitting on matches the colour of her scales. MegaHouse did an amazing job with the rendering.
The use of metallic colours makes her scales look shiny, just like the ones of a real fish.
Her fin is partially transparent. Very elegant!

Her back is one of the most sexiest parts. It is almost entierly uncovered. Even her bottom is partially exposed.
Her beauty is without any doubt absolutely alluring! *.*
This figurine is a must have! Not only for 「One Piece」 fans, but also for passionated figurine collectors.
